GIKENThe GIKEN Group is committed to training female managers and recruiting female human resources in order to become an attractive global company in which women can play an active role and to prepare for the growing labor shortage.

We launched the “Positive Action (Promotion of Active Female Participation) Project” in April 2018 with a view to achieving global and sustainable growth. We have created an environment where female employees can leverage their strengths and perspectives to actively participate and enhance their skills.
The aim of this project is to enable female employees to develop a variety of necessary management skills for leaders and managers, such as communication skills, broad-minded thinking, and optimal utilisation of management resources, by participating in the resolution of management issues in collaboration with management, while also working across and within the organisation. The Positive Action Project also contributes to the improvement of organisational strength as a whole.

Positive Action (Promotion of Active Female Participation) Project

This is a cross-departmental project centered on female employees. Members are divided into multiple teams and work alongside their regular duties based on the basic policies of “creating a comfortable workplace,” “improving employee satisfaction,” and “enhancing the company's brand power.” Rather than working within their respective roles and departments, members exchange opinions directly with management to seek their opinions, enabling them to move quickly from confirming the direction to implementation.
