KENKO Investment for Health of GIKEN Group
It is essential to create a workplace where every employee is healthy and can work with vitality in order to continue growing while adapting to the ever-changing social landscape. Additionally, we believe it is important for companies to successfully balance improving workplace productivity with achieving work-life balance for employees.
The GIKEN Group has established a “Declaration of KENKO Investment for Health” and “Philosophy of KENKO Investment for Health.” We are implementing various initiatives aimed at maintaining and promoting employee health and realising work-life balance.
Promotion System of KENKO Investment for Health
The President and CEO is the person responsible for KENKO Investment for Health. Under the direction of the person responsible for promoting KENKO Investment for Health, the General Affairs Department, in cooperation with the Health and Safety Committee, industrial physicians, the Japan Health Insurance Association, and the KENKO Investment for Health Project Team, is leading the implementation of various initiatives aimed at maintaining and promoting employee health and realising work-life balance.

Registration as Promotion Partner Company for the “Corporate Action to Promote Cancer Control” and “Working RIBBON” Initiatives
The GIKEN Group has registered as a promotion partner for the "Corporate Action to Promote Cancer Control” promoted by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and the “Working RIBBON” Women's Conference of the Corporate Action to Promote Cancer Control.
It is currently estimated that one in two people in Japan may develop cancer, and it is expected that the number of cancer patients working in companies will increase in the future due to the increasing participation of women in society and the extension of the retirement age.
We will work to improve cancer literacy and increase cancer screening rates to prevent cancer, enable early detection, and facilitate early treatment.
