GIKEN LTD. announced the establishment of a new liaison office in Ahmedabad, Gujarat State, India. It will commence operation on 1 July 2026.
This office is located near the head office of Fuji Silvertech Concrete Private Limited (FSCPL), a major precast concrete products manufacturer and partner of GIKEN in India. After signing a collaboration agreement with FSCPL in July 2025, the two companies have built a system for close collaboration. As a result, the press-in method was adopted for the construction under the Kharicut Canal Redevelopment Project Phase 2 in Ahmedabad, and press-in construction started in April 2026. Market development in rapidly growing India is steadily progressing with concrete results.
Given these trends, GIKEN is opening a new strategic base in this growth market. The company will promote the sophistication of market research, activities to spread the press-in method, and initiatives toward creating business opportunities by relocating the existing contact office and expanding staff and functions.
