GRIN Base™ EC is an automated bicycle parking facility developed with the concept of " Culture Aboveground, Function Underground". With a compact entrance booth, it requires minimal space aboveground and provides more than 200 parking spaces underground. This encourages bicycle use and helps prevent disorderly parking, thereby enriching the cultural landscape of the city.

GRIN Base™ securely stores bicycles in an enclosed underground space, eliminating the risks of theft and exposure to weather elements. Operations are conducted easily and comfortably from a covered drop-off booth.
Effective utilisation of land with high capacity
GRIN Base™ with a capacity for 200 bikes occupies the same amount of above-ground space as just a single bike. In contrast, parking 200 bikes above ground requires an area comparable to that of a 25-meter swimming pool. This efficient design allows for the construction of large-scale bicycle parking facilities in areas where securing land is challenging, such as near train stations. Therefore, the surrounding space can be repurposed for cultural activities, such as parks.

Underground Model
Developed under the concept of "Culture Aboveground, Function Underground", the underground model maximises accommodation efficiency. With a compact booth, it opens up cultural and public spaces aboveground.
Aboveground Model
Maintaining similarly high accommodation efficiency as the underground model, the aboveground model can be incorporated into buildings. With the option of installing an exterior glass wall, it can be iconic feature of a building.
