The Silent Piler obtains its reaction force by gripping previously installed piles in the ground, which are called “Reaction Piles”. Then, based on the reaction piles, the Silent Piler installs the pile into the ground using static loading. There are several penetration modes available by using driving assistance for the Press-in Method, and correct mode selected will depend on the specific ground conditions and drivability of piles.
Thus, the Press-in Method is universally applicable and can be used in soft to extremely hard ground conditions due to these wide variety of penetration modes.
