Giken America Corporation (Head Office: Orlando, Florida; Director President: Takefumi Takuma; hereafter “Giken America”), a group company of GIKEN LTD. (Head Office: Kochi-shi, Kochi; President and CEO: Atsushi Ohira; hereafter “GIKEN”), will open a sales office in the state of New Jersey, United States and commence operation of the office on January 3, 2025. Including the Orlando Office, the GIKEN Group will have two offices* in the United States.
For the location, an area was selected with easy access to places in the states of New York and New Jersey where leading design consultants are concentrated. It is also easily accessible by air and land, making it suitable for activities to spread construction methods. With this sales office as the base, the GIKEN Group will seek further expansion and development of the press-in market in the northern part of the United States East Coast, which continues to see large-scale infrastructure investments.
On the United States West Coast and its southern areas, there is already a track record of activities to spread construction methods by users of GIKEN. They include disaster recovery and prevention businesses due to growing severity and frequency of natural disasters, and businesses for the regeneration and reinforcement of infrastructure that are deteriorating with age. The GIKEN Group will continue to rapidly enhance activities spreading construction methods in North America while cooperating with local partners.
